Glastonbury, strategically located just nine miles from Connecticut’s capital city of Hartford, possesses features of a capital city suburb, yet retains much of its rural character and agricultural heritage. It is also the mid-point between Boston and New York City. Despite continued growth, the town has kept its rural charm, especially through its open space preservation program, roadside farm stands and popular berry farms.
